Privacy Policy
CozyMind is a mood-tracking mobile application published by SND CAPITAL. This page describes, simply and without omission, what data the application processes, where that data lives and who can access it.
1. No user account
CozyMind offers no sign-up, no login, and collects no email address or password. The publisher creates no personal identifier. The first name you may enter is used solely to personalise what is displayed, on your device.
2. Data stored on your phone (and nowhere else)
The following data is saved locally, in the application’s private storage space, and is never sent to a server:
- Your daily check-ins: mood, chosen emotion and, if you write one, a free-text note.
- Your answers to the onboarding questionnaire: first name, age range, health areas you are interested in (sleep, movement, food, light, social connection), any hardship you are going through (grief, break-up…), goals, answers to the emotional quiz and the outline of your “promise” drawn with your finger.
- Your preferences: application language, daily reminder time.
- Minimal technical data: the date the application was first opened and your subscription status (free, trial or Premium), as well as the list of days that remain visible for life after a Premium period.
Some of this information (moods, emotions, notes) touches on your mental well-being. That is precisely why it never leaves your device: the publisher has no access to it, neither technically nor commercially.
Like any iOS application data, it may be included in your phone’s encrypted backups (iCloud or computer) if you have enabled them; it is then protected by Apple’s mechanisms and remains inaccessible to the publisher.
3. Data that leaves the device: the subscription only
If you take out the Premium subscription (or its free trial), the transaction is handled by two services:
- Apple (App Store): the payment itself is entirely managed by Apple, under the terms of your Apple account. The publisher never sees your payment details. See Apple’s privacy policy.
- RevenueCat: a technical service that verifies the subscription status (active, trial, expired). The RevenueCat SDK transmits to its servers: a randomly generated anonymous identifier (not linked to your first name or your check-ins), the App Store purchase receipt, technical information (device model, system version, application version) and your IP address (used in particular for approximate country-level location). See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
If you only use the free version and never touch the subscription, only the technical initialisation of the RevenueCat SDK takes place, still under an anonymous identifier.
4. What CozyMind does not do
- No audience analytics or usage statistics tools (no Google Analytics, Firebase, or equivalent).
- No advertising, no advertising SDK, no cross-app tracking.
- No sharing or selling of data to third parties.
- No notification sent from a server: daily reminders are scheduled locally by your phone.
- No access to your photos, contacts, location, microphone, camera or Health app data.
5. Data retention
- On your phone: your data remains stored for as long as the application is installed. It is not subject to any time limit: you stay in control. To erase everything, simply uninstall the application: CozyMind’s private storage space is then deleted by iOS. (The application does not, to date, offer an in-app erase button.)
- At RevenueCat: subscription data (anonymous identifier, transaction history) is kept in accordance with RevenueCat’s policy, for as long as needed to manage subscriptions and meet its legal obligations.
- At Apple: your purchase history is managed by Apple as part of your Apple account, independently of CozyMind.
6. Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection over your personal data.
A particularity of CozyMind: since your personal data is stored only on your device, the publisher holds no copy and therefore cannot view, correct or erase it on your behalf. You exercise these rights directly: editing within the application, erasure by uninstalling. For subscription data processed by RevenueCat or Apple, you can contact us and we will assist you with the process.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with your local data protection authority.
7. Publisher and contact
The CozyMind application is published by SND CAPITAL, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Annecy Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 992 930 743, whose registered office is at 4 avenue des Hirondelles, 74000 Annecy, France. SND CAPITAL is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR, represented by its president, Edouard Sanad.

8. Changes to this policy
Should the way the application works change (for example, the addition of a new service), this page would be updated before the new version is released, and the date at the top of the page amended accordingly.
